Engineered wood flooring is hardwood flooring which is composed of multiple layers of timber stuck together, then finished with a layer of oak, walnut or whatever type of wood your preference is.

This wood flooring is seen as an appealing alternative to solid wood flooring as it looks very similar when fitted, but the construction of the plank allows greater stability, meaning it is able to withstand higher levels of moisture and fluctuations in temperature than solid wood flooring, making it an ideal solution for underfloor heating.
